Book Review

Locomotion

 This book is a poetry book and it has a lot of poems. There are some good poems and some not so good people. The two poems that I like are called “Parents poem” and “Describe somebody”. The parents poem is about how she lost her parents and how they died. And how people ask how her parents died and she would always say “The fire took them”.  The poem Describe Somebody is about how she begins talking about her favorite teacher and how her hair was long and brown and her face was brown and she stopped because she didn’t want to write about that anymore. Then she started writing about this boy in her class that was really shy and he could really sing. But nobody knew that he could sing since he was so shy, she only found out that he was shy by going to another church than usual with her teacher. And when she got there she saw him up there in the robe with the choir. And she saw him sing up there by his self and he did well. Then she decided to start all over because she didn’t want to bring him out and tell the whole class about his personal business.

I think that we should get this pool and field place because there is a lot of people that sit home and do nothing even though they want to do something. They could give free swimming lessons and it would save lot of people lives. You could save peoples lives by everybody would know how to swim and then they wouldn’t need as much help when they get trapped in a wave or something. You can have more than one game going on at once. It would work if you have more than one child. You could have a child playing baseball then another child have a track meat and in this case you could go see both. You can see the first two quarters of the baseball game then go see the track game. And your children can be happy because you came to there games and not one game.
